Attention parents of children, boys and girls, in Shenandoah County with special needs (ie: ambulatory, non-ambulatory, autistic, deaf, blind, verbal, non-verbal, etc.) that preclude them from participating in a standard recreational soccer program!

TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) offers your player an opportunity to participate in soccer, regardless of skill level - we tailor the game to your child’s abilities. Everybody scores goals and everybody wins. Each player gets the opportunity to play with the ball. Being on the field is just one of the benefits resulting from playing TOPSoccer -- socialization skills, friendship, teamwork, and a feeling of success and belonging are also recognized. TOPSoccer is a non-competitive game.

For families, TOPSoccer offers a chance to cheer your special player and their teammates. 

Children with special needs deserve the opportunity to explore and enjoy sports as well any other child! This program will include 1:1 instruction through coaches and buddies who have a desire to make a difference and who have worked with children with special needs before. Children of all abilities will be included and skills and activities will be tailored to them.

We are excited to offer this opportunity to expand the Shenandoah County Soccer League's services in our community and reinforce the League's motto: "Soccer is about learning and having fun!"
