Coaching Checklist

***PLEASE*** use the same email address and the same spelling for your name (full legal name is best) when you sign up for SafeSport, on our website, for background checks, and with US Soccer Coaching Education. This will make many things easier later. 

All SCSL coaches must complete the following steps: 

1) Complete the SafeSport training for volunteers. This is required of all volunteers. No exceptions will be made. Check with your age commissioner for a code to take the training for free. 

2) Volunteer! Scroll down, find an opportunity, and sign up to coach! 

3) Sign up to access U.S. Soccer Coaching Education resources and complete the appropriate Grassroots Coaching course (4v4, 7v7, 9v9, or 11v11). SCSL will reimburse coaches who complete the U.S. Soccer online training courses.
