All Star Try Outs to complete in The Battle in the Blue Ridge tournament will be Tuesday, May 21st at 6:30 at the soccerplex.
You must be a current rec player of have played last season. Travel players are not allowed to try out.

The Shenandoah County Soccer League will host the 11th Battle in the Blue Ridge tournament June 29-30 for All Star recreational players. Youth players will get a chance to play against teams from other parts of the state.

AGE GROUP GUIDELINES

• 08U players: born 1/1/2016 and younger

• 10U Players: born 1/1/2014 and younger

• 12U Players: born 1/1/2012 and younger

• 14U Players: born 1/1/2010 and younger

• No travel players are allowed to participate.

We will attempt to form teams for 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U. All teams will be co-ed. Team formation will depend on the number of registrants and coach availability.

All Star teams consist of players selected from more than one recreational team. All Stars participation does require an additional fee that is determined by the individual team/coach after teams have been selected. The costs involved are tournament fees, uniform costs (if a different uniform is used) and overall travel expenses. Practices typically start in June, and are usually 1-2 days each week, or as the coach sees fit.
