Withdrawing or Transferring from the 2020 Spring Recreational Season

We trust you and your family continue to be safe and in good health. Thank you for doing your part to slow the spread of COVID-19 by practicing social distancing.

The Shenandoah County Soccer League Board of Directors met last week and decided to continue to wait and see how the pandemic changes. The start of the 2020 Spring recreational season will therefore continue to be postponed indefinitely until the restrictions on non-essential businesses in Virginia are lifted, but we will not cancel the season.

The Board of Directors understands some families no longer want to wait for the spring season. Therefore, any player who is registered for the 2020 Spring recreational season who no longer wishes to play may transfer to the 2020 Fall season or withdraw and receive a refund.

***IMPORTANT*** : Players who withdraw or request a transfer from the 2020 Spring recreational season will not be eligible to re-register for the spring season when it resumes play. A withdrawal or a transfer will be permanent and non-reversible.

The most important things we can do for ourselves and each other right now is to respect the guidelines about social distancing, follow the best practices for personal hygiene and hand washing, and be patient as we wait for the pandemic to recede.

We look forward to re-opening the SoccerPlex and watching all of our kids play soccer at a point in the not-too-distant future.
