USMNT 'Not Taking Anything For Granted' tour

The United States Men's National Team (USMNT) did not fail to qualify for the 2018 World Cup just because they lost to Trinidad & Tobago October 10, 2017. Home defeats to Mexico and Costa Rica and away draws with Panama and Honduras put the USMNT in danger of not qualifying; the loss to T&T was the final nail.

Yet out of a historic failure there has been improvement. Changes in leadership at US Soccer, and the turn to a much younger squad, mean the USMNT is expected to qualify for the 2022 World Cup. But expectations aren't enough.

Welcome to the "Not Taking Anything for Granted" USMNT tour: 14 games against the best teams in CONCACAF for the right to go to the 2022 World Cup. Every game matters, and every game will be tough.

The tour through the most hostile places to play in Central America starts Sept 2 in El Salvador and ends March 30 in Costa Rica. Watch this page for updates!
