The SCSL is looking for some new referees for the Spring 2012 Season and beyond. If you are interested in becoming a PAID referee for the league, you must be at least 14 years old. You will need to pay for clinics when you register but you will be reimbursed for the cost of the clinics by the SCSL. In return for the SCSL paying for you to be certified, you will be required to referee for the SCSL in at least 12 games total over the next 2 seasons. Spring and Fall is 2 playing seasons or one year. You could easily referee 3 games in one weekend if you wanted to and there are 8 weekends of games in each season. You must also purchase your own ref uniform and equipment.
